Since 2018, we have been organising tastings at markets, at home and in our cellar in Pego to showcase natural wines from Alicante, Castellón and Valencia: whites, oranges, reds, sparkling wines and vermouths.
This is an experience that explains what a natural wine is and how it differs from a conventional wine or one with organic certification. We also talk about indigenous grape varieties, vinification methods such as sparkling wine made by the ancestral method, rancio wine and Fondillón from Alicante.
Tastings are held in Valencian, French or English. For us, this is the ideal educational tool for promoting natural wine, a pleasant moment of exchange that can stretch on depending on the enthusiasm of the group — we are never tired. On request, we can organise a brunch, order a paella or a fideua.
