In December 2016, Jérôme Chesnot bought two bottles at the Mercat de la Terra in Benissa. That encounter with Juan Tàrrega would change the course of his life. An expert in digital communication and wine enthusiast since the 1990s, he became the ambassador of the Bancals de Vi winegrowers' association in 2017.
In 2020, with a selection of six wines and a cellar in Benirrama, Vi Natural was born. Five years later, the project brings together around twenty producers from the Valencian Country, organises the Pego Natural Wine Fair and publishes Va de Vi, a weekly radio and podcast chronicle in Valencian.
Natural wine: wine made without additives or industrial techniques, from grapes grown using agroecological methods and harvested by hand.
